Article 1.

Alpinum ALP-CERDANYA CYCLE TOUR will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 . The start will take place at 8.00 am near the soccer field of Alp. It consists of three courses: Endurance (182 km), Medial (141 km) and Sport (86 km). The finish line is located at the same place as the start and the finish control closes at 16.00. Participation is open to cyclists aged 18 and over.

Article 2.

Alpinum ALP-CERDANYA CYCLE TOUR is a cycling tour, regulated in article 9 of the RFEC Cycling Touring-Cycling for All Regulations, within the framework of a cycling specialty that conceives this sport as a physical exercise for leisure and touristic or cultural purposes, excluding competition. The event is subject to the provisions of Articles 15 and following of Annex II of Royal Decree 1428/2003, of 21 November, approving the General Traffic Regulations for the application and development of the text of the Law on traffic, circulation of motor vehicles and road safety, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 339/1990, of 2 March.

Article 3.

Registration fee.

The price, depending on the enrollment band, is as follows:

  • Last day of registration: July 2, 2026 (or until the quota of 1,500 registrations is reached)

  • Cyclists who do not have a license from the cycling federation must pay a supplement of 10€ for the mandatory day insurance.

  • Cyclists registered with RFEC license must present the license in force when collecting the bib.

  • Failure to present the license at that time will result in the payment of €10 for the mandatory day insurance.

Article 4.

Insurance. It is mandatory either to have a license from the Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC), from the Catalan Cycling Federation (FCC) or from another federation affiliated to the UCI, or to subscribe the day insurance through the organization. These are the only valid insurances accepted by the authorities. Licenses from other sports federations (triathlon, mountaineering, etc.) are not valid. The participation in the race is under the responsibility and risk of each participant. At the time of registration, the participant declares to be physically fit for the race and declares to be aware of the inherent difficulty of the race.

Article 5. 

Modalities and distances. The cyclotourist march has three participation options.

Article 6. Participation and insurance. 

Participation in Alpinum is open to athletes of any nationality who have reached the age of 18 on the day of the event. Athletes under 18 years of age may not participate in any of the three distances.

The use of an approved helmet is mandatory throughout the entire route. It is not allowed to participate with time trial bicycles, nor with any type of coupling, nor electric bicycles. Each athlete participates in the cyclotourist march under his own responsibility and declares to be in optimal physical conditions, as well as to have sufficient technical knowledge to face it. 

The organization advises participants to undergo a medical examination beforehand in order to detect and rule out any anomaly incompatible with the practice of cycling.

The organization will have a Civil Liability insurance policy in accordance with current legislation. In addition, all participants will be covered by an accident insurance policy taken out by the organization (it does not cover material damage to the bicycle, its components and/or accessories). 

During the bib pick-up process, all participants must present their ID card or the registration confirmation e-mail. 

Article 7. Registration

Registration is personal and non-transferable and implies acceptance of all the articles of these regulations, as well as the conditions of purchase. 

All prices are listed on the registration form on this website, the official website of the event, and can be paid online by credit or debit card.

Name changes have an additional cost of 20 €. 

They may be made until June 27, 2025.

Article 8. Jersey, wristband and race bib

The organization will provide the following mandatory material for all participants:

* A bib for the front of the bicycle. 

* A participant identification bracelet with your bib number, which will be put on when you pick up the material and must be kept on throughout the cycling tour. 

The organization will also provide an official BioRacer jersey, which is recommended to be worn by all participants (the wristband and bib number are mandatory) and constitutes a security and control element so that all auxiliary personnel involved in the race can identify at all times who are participants and who are not. 

Without the wristband or the race bib, it will not be possible to access the start boxes. Neither will it be possible to be assisted by the mechanics at the assistance points nor by the volunteers at the refreshment points.

The jersey, it is very important that during the registration process you pay attention to the table that shows the measurements of the jersey before choosing the size. Size changes will not be accepted.

The bib must be placed on the front of the bicycle as shown in the picture. In this way it will also serve to identify the participant in the photos that the organization will take at the different points of the route. 

Article 9. Cancellations and refunds. 

In case of extraordinary weather conditions or force majeure (except for causes derived from the Covid-19) not attributable to the organization and that make impossible the celebration of the cyclotourist march, the organization will not assume any responsibility and will not refund the registration fee.

The Alpinum registration provides for a refund only in the following case: Only those who have purchased the refund guarantee through the registration form will be entitled to a full refund of the registration fee. 

This guarantee has an extra cost of 10 €. The refund guarantee entitles you to a 100% refund of the registration fee (not including administration fees) and is valid for cancellations communicated until June 13. After this date, the refund guarantee will lose its effect.

Article 10. Assignment of exit boxes. 

Starting boxes will be assigned according to the average speed indicated on the registration form.

Article 11. Safety and medical assistance.

It is important to remember that traffic along the route will be open and that, above all, it is important to follow the rules of the road .

Alpinum is NOT a competition, but a non-competitive cycling tour. This must be taken into account when crossing towns, riding on the right, going through traffic circles and crossroads, descending mountain passes, etc.

The race has a very extensive medical service and all medical personnel will be authorized to withdraw any participant for medical reasons.

The medical services of the race and assistance services are not obliged to attend cyclists not registered in the race. 

It is mandatory to carry a charged cell phone during the race and it is highly recommended to carry a pair of sleeves to protect yourself from the cold on the downhill sections.

The cell phone will be the key to contacting the emergency telephone numbers listed on the wristband if there is a need for a breakdown or medical issues.

During the week of the race, the weather forecast will be posted on the website and social networks.

Article 12. Cut-off times. 

The organization will make a cut-off time in the Medial and Endurance distances, at km 105 (at the refreshment point in Bolquère) for the participants who have been more than 5h30min.

Article 13.

Mechanical assistance and participant pick-up points. 

The organization will have a fleet of vehicles that will provide mechanical assistance along the route and will pick up participants who do not continue for reasons of breakdown, fatigue or being out of control.

Authorized vehicles following the race will wear visible identification at all times. 

The fact of being accompanied by a vehicle not belonging to the organization will result in the disqualification of the participant. 

The assistance services will not attend any cyclist who is not correctly registered in the race. The main criterion to discriminate the assistance is the participant's bracelet and bib.

Article 14. Provisions. 

The race will have refreshment points (liquid and solid) along the route and at the finish line.

The staff at the refreshment points will only allow access to the products to cyclists wearing their race bib and wristband.

Gels, bars and other refreshment products of the participants must be marked with the race bib number.

The organization will carry out random checks. 

Article 15. Civility and respect. 

Athletes registered in Alpinum accept all the articles of these regulations and undertake to participate in an honest manner according to the traffic rules, as well as to complete the entire course before crossing the finish line. 

Participants agree to be respectful with the staff involved in the organization of the event, as well as with the rest of the participants. 

This commitment extends to treating your own and other people's sports equipment with respect and to wearing a regulation helmet throughout the race. To help minimize the environmental impact of the race, participants will use the containers located at the refreshment posts and strategic points to dispose of packaging, wrappers or leftover food. Likewise, they will refrain from littering outside these areas during the race. 

Article 16. Cancellation. 

If the date of the event is postponed due to force majeure, natural disasters, weather conditions, public health problems (e.g. epidemic or pandemic) or any other circumstance affecting the safety of competitors, the organizer reserves the right to change the start or finish time, cancellation and neutralization of the race without the competitors, partners and/or services (suppliers) being able to claim any amount whatsoever. 

Article 17. Modification of the regulations. 

The CLUB CICLISTA ALP-LA MOLINA has the right to change or interpret any situation that is not considered in the present rules. The organization can also make the necessary changes to the rules before two weeks before the celebration of the event. 1

Article 18.

Basic standards for the environment and for proper operation

- In order to minimize the environmental impact of the race, participants must mark their bars, gels or other similar products with their bib number. Random controls will be made at the entrance of the starting boxes. Once the marked products have been used, the containers or wrappers will be discarded in the containers located at the refreshment posts. 

- Respect the neighbors and/or workers of the areas through which the march runs, as well as the volunteers and staff of the organization who are watching over the participants.

 - Respect populated areas. Do not litter. 

- Follow the start box you selected when you registered. A start protocol has been established so that you can pedal smoothly without forming bottlenecks.

 - At the refreshment posts, take what you need until the next refreshment post. This way, there will be food and drink for everyone. Do not stop with your bike in front of the refreshment posts to refill the water bottles, as it forms a stopper. Do not urinate near the refreshment posts.

 - For your safety, we recommend that you download the track of the march to your GPS. 

Participants who do not comply with these rules will be disqualified and removed from the cyclotourist march by the organization both in this edition and in the next three editions.

Article 19. Liability, Image Rights and Data Protection

Image rights

All participants authorize the organization to film, photograph or perform in any sound or image support that may be made during the weekend in the area of delivery of bibs and during the cyclotourist march, being the same properties of the organization. Participants grant and authorize free of charge to use the images and sounds captured in any medium or format for dissemination in any national and international media, including promotional media or marketing of their events of any type of material made by the organization.

Data protection

The CLUB CICLISTA ALP-LA MOLINA guarantees full compliance with the rules of protection of personal data, and thus, in accordance with Law 15/1999, the signatory is informed and gives his consent to the incorporation of their data to the existing automated files in the Club and the treatment of the same for use in connection with the development of administrative, commercial and other activities of the same. The privacy policy of CLUB CICLISTA ALP-LA MOLINA assures you, in any case, the exercise of rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, in the terms established in the current legislation, by writing to CLUB CICLISTA ALP-LA MOLINA C/ Font Moreu nº 4, 17537 - La Molina (Alp), being responsible for the file the CLUB CICLISTA ALP-LA MOLINA with address for these purposes at the address indicated above. The participant accepts that their data may be transferred exclusively to collaborating companies and sponsors necessary for the proper development of the activities, for the management and internal administration of the CLUB CYCLIST ALP-LA MOLINA. Also, the signer accepts that the CLUB CYCLIST ALP-LA MOLINA send or send him information about any products, procedures or services marketed. The acceptance of the signatory so that they can be treated or transferred their data in the manner established in this paragraph is always revocable, without retroactive effect, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 6 and 11 of Law 15/1999 of December 13.
